Hello ladies and gents. I have searched a bunch for a build on the 2012 version of the lightships from the movie: John Carter of Mars. I came up empty handed. So, I built one myself back in 2012, I never got around to sharing a world save file because I thought it needed more improvements and a little less emeralds. Even posted a video about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQEslM1VGBU (watch it at your own risk). plus, the mod that I used on the build to make it fly stopped updating. So I waited for the right mod to replace it. I didn't know I had to wait for 5 years.



I would like to thank the Valkyrian Warfare Mod Devs in making this thing happen. Again awesome job if you're reading this. (disclaimers: few of the ship’s features are unavailable when modded, but not to worry, the mod devs are doing their best to fix them)

DISCLAIMER: I never aimed for an exact replica of the ships in the movie (cause that would be boring... to me). Hell, even its lore is far from being cannon. It's my ship I just wanted something new for a Minecraft airship design.



Further more I intended this ship to be played with friends. For a multiplayer battle, I had an Idea (play it at your own preference): Sol has the fire power to reduce a whole NPC village into rubble (tried and tested... so many times), two or more teams on board will have to fight for control over the ship to pilot it over each teams corresponding targets ( best to make it look like a siege). The first team to eliminate their targets (or eliminate the other team's base(s))wins.

The ship has 30 mountable cannons, 7 scorching solar wings, a whole Armoury of awesome weapons (brought to you by Vic's Modern Warfare Mod), a stable full of horses, AND ITS OWN PUB. How on Earth can you not find ways to wreak havoc.

For ship vs ship battles: SOL is meant to be flown as high as possible over the battle to "rain justice from above." I made some weak spots to give other ships a fighting chance (you have to find them by yourselves, it make the match a little more interesting).
