A while back I put together an attempt at a Tower of Babel. I was reasonably happy with the design, but in the end I decided it wasn't quite grand enough to be the center piece of the desert city I envisioned.

So I scrapped it, tripled the size and built it with quartz. Here's the result.

I eventually plan to have it be a part of a large desert city, you can see some of it in the images attached. The city includes the Lion Statues I showed off last week and the Hanging Gardens of Babylon I put together last year, links below if you're interested.
