He was built in 1928.
his maiden voyage began in 1930.
In the second world war he served as an troopship.
after the second world war he got many updates wich made him one of the most wonderfull ships in the 1950s
in 1960 he served as an museum ship until a boiler explode.
so he was scrapped in 1970 in alexanders scrapping dock.
