Yes, dear viewers! I have a new series!
One of my favorite things to do in Minecraft is construct 1:1 (or at least really close to 1:1) scale Star Wars ships, and i decided to share them with you guys. Now, since they are to scale with the average minecraft player, they don't pack as much detail as the bigger builds, but you know, these fill a different niche than those, so i hope you guys enjoy this series!
First off I have my personal favorite ship in the entire Star Wars Galaxy, the T-70 X-Wing starfighter! I went through a few different variations, until i got to a design that properly displayed the new engines ( I also used the new 1.9 end rods to represent the laser cannons!)

Cockpit that you can actually sit in! (achieved w/ minecart)
1:1 scale to actual minecraft player
(UPDATE: july 20, 2016: More proportional engines and resource pack)

Look! an update!
After fiddling with the design for a little while, I settled on a design that keeps to 1:1 scale and is more proportional. Also, the resource pack used is by The Iron Commander, and is probably the greatest resource pack ever made.
