A "steampunk" adventure map a la escapecraft. Not sure if it could really be considered steampunk but... whatever. Still in progress

Glimmar's 32x steampunk texture pack is highly suggested LINK . Don't forget that you need the minecraft hd texture fix ALSO LINK .

Update Notes: I'll update every couple sections of the lab.

Additional Notes

The perforator can cause a bit of an fps drop. If you're fps gets low, collect the arrows that are stuck in the walls (after being fired) and it should go back up.

my crappy computer cant handle texture packs of that magnitude. gonna play it anyway. if you know any lower quality steampunk texture packs, i'd be thankful.

I don't think even i can :/ it still looks pretty good without the steam pack, but it will look more like a squeaky clean lab than a steampunk one (iron blocks etc...).

Idk when I'll work on this again, probably sometime in the next few days. any suggestions qould be great.

It got really laggy for me after the fall, so laggy that i wandered into lava... then when i died the rails wouldn't work, i think it was because of the update, but still,if you plan on doing it again, i would include a part where the character has to gather resources and fix a cobble stone generator. for example, make them go to other parts of the lab and find a bucket of water and a bucket of lava, and put them into certain slots and build a bridge or something like that. i hope this helps. :)

Hmm, something is messed up. I think it's the new lighting system that makes you lag at the lava piston section (i lag too now). As for the minecart, it worked fine for me.

Did you notice the chomper section stopping after a short while?

You won't take much damage running straight through them. Even before the food regen addition, you would only lose 1 to 1.5 hearts at the most.

I clearly have a lot of work to do... i think i'll wait for 1.9.
