Welcome to Spectrum Island Resort.

This exclusive luxury resort has man amenities, room types and attractions.

Features of the island

-4 Hotels: Compass Rose Beachside Hotel, Secret Cove Jr. Suites, Sunset Peak Executive Suites, and Top-of-the World Presidential Suites.

-Compass Rose Boardwalk: 2 food stands, fishing rentals, scuba diving, boating rentals/lessons, sunbathing lounge.

-Compass Rose Beach: Gourmet Restaurant, Beach Bar.

-Portside Retail Center (Lounge, Fine Dining, Shop)

-Lagoon Pool w/swim up bar.

-Hidden Spring Restaurant & Lounge

-Ocean View Steakhouse

-Portside Diner

-Valley Tower Conference Center

-Port which houses a 70m Super Yacht, welcome center, port offices and warehouse.

There are lots of things for Steve to do on the island. It is a luxury paradise like no other.

This island had a history before it became the luxury resort it is today.

It started out as a fisherman's stop before heading back to the mainland. Fisherman Hank crashed where the port is now. He built a lighthouse 100 years ago which is surrounded by the retail center. Once he was rescued he came back with a crew to settle the island with a few cabins and they had established a small market where the port resides now. Some Investor's became interested in this island as a Resort Spot and built what is now the Spectrum Island Resort.

I built this on my own. I used WorldEdit to level some areas and fill large spaces but most things were placed by hand. I have spent over 60 hours building this. It was a challenge and I am pretty impressed with the result. I have included a download and am working on a video but it will not be ready before the contest is over. I hope you all enjoy, and good luck to the other contestants. There are a lot of great submissions out there.

I may add more and turn it into an adventure map. I am not sure yet.

Pretty much finished. I furnished everything and got most of the signs up. Just have to put on a few more finishing touches tomorrow and the I will update the details page and upload the final world save. This has been a trip and I have thoroughly enjoyed this project and contest.

Sectioned and furnished the rooms of the Secret Cove Jr. Suites and Compass Rose Beachside Hotel. The only building left to furnish is the Top-Of-The-World Presidential Suites. After that the cave and lagoon are the only 2 planned things left. I'm debating about adding some more historical elements to the island. We'll see if I have time for those.

Added the world save. All the structures are done at this point. It is just the detail work that needs to be done now.

Finished the structure of the Waves of Serenity Spa (added the natural hot springs baths which are on the second level).

All thats left now is the detailing and furnishing of the buildings and some landscaping/cave work. Once thats done I will be working on the video to showcase it and then the release of the world save. Yay!!!

Built the Presidential Suites Structure. Just have to furnish and detail. added the floors to the cove suites.

Almost done with the structures and then it will just be detailing. All thats left if the spa.

From there I'll have to detail and furnish everything, finish the cave restaurant and lounge, work on the lagoon cave pool.

I havent decided what to put on the south side of the island yet. I want to put something there but havent figured it out. WIll keep you all posted.

Worked more on the beachside hotel (now named the Compass Rose Beachside Hotel). Full details for what was on the hotels project page.

Tomorrow I think I am going to start on the spa area.

Getting further with the beachside hotel. Built the restaurant structure on the cliff above the beachside hotel.

All thats left is the Spa, Presidential Suites, Cave Lounge/Restaurant, Lagoon Pool, and finishing each building. The others are built, just need to separate rooms, furnish, and detail.

Worked on the dock some more and got the exterior to where I like it. Started on the beachside hotel building as well.

Redid the dock roof and retail area. Converted part of it into a functioning lighthouse (redstone work inside). Hopefully will have a larger update in the next few days.

Worked on the dock today. Got the structure done. Still need to detail it, setup rooms, and furnish.

Built the executive suites. They have a helipad so that our business customers can come and go in a hurry.

I will be trying to build 1 building a day for now. More to come.

Built and finished the Yacht today. I am super stoked. I am adding it as its own project and will load a schematic later. Worked a little on the dock last night.

Built the retail building (will be adding more detail and furnishing later).

Finished zoning everything and laid the foundations for the rest of the buildings and updated the paths a little.

I changed the Admin tower to a conference hall. It is completed except for the furnishing (I will be working on that closer to the end).

Worked more on the port and got the design for the yacht in docks.

Worked on the cave restaurant and lounge with access to the atrium up to the peak suites.

Finalizing the plans for the shops/restaurant/lounge off of the docks.

Uploaded more pics. I have changed the texture pack to the Ozo's TP.

I have built the majority of the citadel structure. Still deciding how I want to design the topper.

Built most of the paths around the island. Worked on the port (dug out the floor under the water and restructured the sides of the wall under the water.

Also have started the structure for the Beachside Cove Suites.
