SURVIVAL DIAMOND CHALLENGE (SDC)
MAX 4 PLAYERS
Singleplayer / Open to Lan
- click start > search %appdata% > click .minecraft > saves.
- Open sdc.zip and extract sdc world save to saves.
- Load it up, open to lan and have fun!
Vanilla Multiplayer server
- Extract the sdc world save into your server folder
- Open server properties > next to level-name=sdc
- Play
New World
- Create new world > Save & quit >
- Open World save folder > Create new folder > name as: structures
- Extract sdc.nbt into structures folder > open Minecraft
- Use command /give @p structure_block > Place flush with the ground
- Right click structure block > Click [C] three times until it shows [L]
- In structure name type sdc > Relative position (middle box) to -6
- Click load the green line marks the front right > if your happy click load again and bang! have fun.
GAMEPLAY
Wait for everyone to join then press gold button in the middle > everyone choose what colour they want to be > then set the target number of diamonds. Everyone has to get their own resources as they hunt for the diamonds. To bank your diamonds you need to return to your coloured house and place your diamonds in your shulker box, the maching will then deduct the number of diamonds you put in from the target. All scores are displayed on the right hand side so everyone can see how others are doing. It's also a good idea to write down the co-ords of the houses! Whoever gets their target score down to 0 is the winner and they will flick a switch above their shulker box which will play a sound to all players and notify everyone what colour has won.
It automatically kills creepers that get within 20 blocks from the centre (4 blocks from both sides) of the machine so houses cannot be blown up :)
