The point is to finish off the mobs before they hit the pressure plates. Note that you can also trigger the pressure plates if you get too close. If they hit the pressure plate, you will be overrun by zombies, but you can kill them in a minute or 2. This is my first published redstone project, and i might update it if you like it. also, if you tell me what i can do with edstone, i might make it and i will give you credit for it.
