This my take on the famous Temple of Artemis.



Temple of Artemis, also called Artemesium, temple at Ephesus, now in western Turkey, that was one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The great temple was built by Croesus, king of Lydia, about 550 BCE and was rebuilt after being burned by a madman named Herostratus in 356 BCE. The Artemesium was famous not only for its great size, over 350 by 180 feet (about 110 by 55 metres), but also for the magnificent works of art that adorned it. The Temple had tremendous dimensions: 127 columns of each 17,5 meters high.


I got inspired by a render model I saw in the video of Wonders of the Ancient World by Kings and Generals. I tried to get the colorscheme as close to it as I could get. Photo can be seen as last.

The build consists of 1 main hall, 2 side halls, storage room, treasure room, warm bath and multiple balconies with inside and outside view.

Took me a few weeks to build and fully decorate it so leave a diamond or comment what you think! Would be much appreciated!
