This map is a 100% no mods, no resource pack needed, totally vanilla rendering of part of the backrooms, true to the original 4chan post, with a little bit of my own spice mixed in.

This map is specially made to encapsulate the "wtf" factor of the backrooms, with warped/glitched rooms, and specially engineered so endermen can teleport within for white knuckle chases! Of course I can't build all 600 million square miles of it but I can sure build a little slice. I built what I could by hand, so I eventually lost interest in this project because of how repetitive it was.

A little backstory: So a while back I was browsing the paranormal imageboard of 4chan and saw a post that intrigued me, it was about something called, "The Backrooms". This is the original text: "If you’re not careful and you noclip out of reality in the wrong areas, you’ll end up in the backrooms, where it’s nothing but the stink of old moist carpet, the madness of mono-yellow, the endless background noise of fluorescent lights at maximum hum-buzz, and approximately six hundred million square miles of randomly segmented empty rooms to be trapped in. God save you if you hear something wandering around nearby, because it sure as heck has heard you."

I really liked that post, so looking through the thread that followed led me to a subreddit (I'm subscriber #8 woo!) about The Backrooms, which then led me to the Discord for said subreddit, and before I knew it, I was super involved. Now I've made a minecraft map for it.
