The Black Legion is a hostile faction that once allied with Regina during the old wars. After the war, they attempted a coup against the Regina royal family, only for their plan to be prematurely be uncovered. After the failure of their revolt, the entirety of the Black Legion leadership was put to death, and the remaining members of the Black Legion escaped and went into hiding around Steamworld. The fortress that once stood as their main guild hall was completely ruined over time. Recently, an ancient city was discovered inside the Black Legion dungeon, challenging adventurers to discover the secrets the Black Legion hid from the world.
