This compound was owned by the famous Dr.Miles who used it to make half Human, half animal things for his research on supersoldiers... he was figured out and the government send out their soldiers to the island and the docter was shot and killed while writing in his journal. with his last breath, he tossed the notebook and a lit lighter into the garbage. the soldiers put out the fire in the trash but nothing was recoverable. the government holed up his island and shut down his compound without a blink of an eye.
