The everlasting forest
Bordering with the snow lands, divided only by a narrow river, an ancient and dense forest is home to the ruins of a lost civilization. A few stone towers stand between the green of the trees, blending into the branches and roots of the birches, leaving an enduring testimony of what was once a prosperous land where forgotten creatures were once grazed by the people of the trees
This forest is right next to the winter castle of Stiffort, being the Woodland Gate a route between this two territories. Despite it's proximity, this forest is not considered a part of the castle's territory, being a sacred and feared place for the villagers
There are many rumors and stories about the fertility of this place, attributing this extraordinary feature to magic, elven arts and divine blessings.
There's even a story about a laborer who, after trying unsuccessfully to feed his people tilling the icy ground, begged to the gods tearfully for his plants to grow. At his death, the gods heard his prayer and from his tomb sprang the first trees and from that tree was born a spring of tears that watered the rest of the forest to grow. It is said that into the highest tower the laborer's tears still flows from the branches of the trees

This is a very simplistic construction, a bunch of stone towers into an overgrown forest, no decorations, no ornamentations, only crumbling stone towers being swallowed by vegetation, and that's all it needs
I tried to gave the game nature the main role on this part of the land, I planted the trees and then built the towers following the network of the forest, when the towers were erected, I planted more trees
This is somewhat a negative of Stiffort Castle: raw stone versus masonry wall, green versus black and white, spring versus winter, so this building can not be understood if one doesn't considers the castle [url=Overall,%20thanks%20for%20the%20attention,](Click here)[/url]
