I basically made this to start a server with. Adds a little definition to the world.
It's about 20X bigger than the pictures show. It goes across an entire map... not that you couldn't expand that.
I used McEdit and a LOT of manual tnt :D
I like to imagine a giant alien space sword taking a huge chunk out of the planet.
I also like to imagine a war between factions on either side, separated by the great river, and fighting for the plethora of resources beneath it. However, I'd like the area to remain protected on a server, so that it remained aesthetically pleasing.
