The Great Eastern Railway is a project to connect the Master Guardians Megabase (https://www.planetminecraft.com/project/master-guardians-base-2-0/) to spawn via a single straight line of railway. This huge rail project was initially dug out by Nekomenace with the support of Callum6677 and is now in the process of being decorated and stations finalised.



The railway spans from spawn for around 3750 blocks and runs underground at level 0 to ensure that the line did not interrupt any builds along the worlds surface. It currently features links to our recreational district alongside a fox sanctuary hidden away underground and will later house an axolotl sanctuary, diving caves and other features.



The entire rail system runs on TCT's custom data pack rail boosters allowing for command block based speed rails that provide a smooth but fast journey from station to station with a few slowed areas to allow you to admire the caves the rail passes through.



The entire design is based on modular chunks meaning it easy to construct and consistent in design.
