Now its finally realesed. The Lonely Mountain adventure map by the Minecraft Lord of the Rings edition team. We diverted alot of time into making this and we are proud about our building skills and our diverse stroy-line. Play as a Barding (Man) , a Dwarf, or you can have a co-op experience. Please leave feedback and maybe if you really liked it a diamond. A little hodge podge I know but back then I was just one person with redstone help from 2 or three people
Most of the architecture was done by myself accept Smaug.

I put the Erebor adventures folder in my minecraft saves folder but it does not appear in minecraft so I cant play it =( could you please help

Should work, did you open the Erebor Adventures folder?It should be in there along with the texture pack

The Sequel will probably come out in due time. If you look at my server and the builds there, the buidings next time will be higher quality. I mean this map was made by me via the terraforming and building, apart from the credits of course. Hope you like the sequel more as you liked the last one. To stay tuned for a sequel I suggest keeping an eye on my server's updated logs or something like that as when we finish Rohan and if we have enough members, then we will continue it with about 5 people or so working on it.

concept art showed that yes. When my team find the time we'll make a sequel with better builds since my server staff has grown and it wasnt just me on my own. Hope you enjoyed it by the way. Expect a sequel maybe on Hobbit Realese :)

Can I make it with custom npc's and give you guys original credit for the mountain and leave a link to this page. ( if I'm premoted could you also make a permission section? So I don't get in trouble)

Well there is nobody else in the map accept yourself or if you in co-op your friend. You can edit the map and what not just mention us in your description cause onbody reads credits aswell as link us. But if you do cross me I will bring it to the moderaters. I would like to see the map as it progresses but if you dont want us to see it then ok. Good luck and all the best.

App: I would like to join the project because I have read and loved the hobbit and all the Lotr books, I also know and can recreate most of the areas mentioned in the book.
