Welcome to the North Atlantic Project !
The goal of this massive undertaking is to build the city of Rapture from 2k games Bioshock 1 and 2, with all accompanying DLC (including Burial at sea).
All set before the civil war took hold on the city, and to expand on them, turning each level from a linear first-person shooter into a fully-fledged city district. Complete with a custom made texture pack made for the project
The end goal is to create a Minecraft server which hosts a fully functional city beneath the sea (scale for a population of 20,000 people).
We are building from premade maps and other in games designs. The city when completed will function in two parts, for the first half of the year the city will be a business hub where you can buy buildings, run shop and create your own business empire with little to no restrictions. The other half of the year, the city transforms into a war zone where players must battle for control of the city.
the factions fighting for control of the city are:
Ryan- will you fight for the great Andrew Ryan, to preserve the great chain and crush the parasites that have infiltrated the city
Atlas- will you rebel against the system that the tyrant Ryan had set up to crush the people who hold the fat cats up
Lamb- will you be follower of the cult of the Lamb to rise past the fools of Ryan and Atlas to create a true utopia
City status :
We are looking for builders who are interested in such a project or fans of the Bioshock series. Players get their own workspace to build their own districts and free to add to existing builds. people are free to speak in either french and english
If you are interested please message me

3 Update Logs
Update #3 completed farmers market : by Clockwork1996 03/27/2024 12:19:07 amMar 27th
I'm happy to say that the farmers market is done.
This area has been restored to a time before the war took place and expanded to be fully explorable market place filled with groceries and goods
the farmers market have had the following changes to it
the winery has had a lot of remodeling, the basement has been tidied up but has mostly remain the same with the exception to the addition of an entry way to the other market and the shack being redone into a VIP tasting area, the top of the building has been turned into VIP lounging areas and berry greenhouses

It's impressive.
I think with the lighting from the shaders and changing the textures to lighter ones, your work will shine with new colors.
Try to go beyond the game's locations and limited color palette - unleash your potential ^,^
It seems that with the new versions there are whole block gradients.
We all love bioshock, I guess for that atmosphere of a lost dream under the water column.
The water represents the insurmountable line that separates this place from all the problems from above. And ideally you should preserve this diamond under water, not let it languish (as it is shown in Bioshock 1 and Bioshock 2)
So I urge you to let your soul and step away from the blueprints of what is dead. Show people that it can live, and in doing so you will inspire others.
