Hello,
the Popolo district is located next to the Cervo one (https://www.planetminecraft.com/project/the-cervo-district/), on the south, next to the lake. According to its name, it's mostly inhabitated by the poorer citizens whose civil rights are limited significantly, however, some zones, such as Borgo Palazzo, are inhabitated by the officers working in the doge's chancellery and obviously are richer and much more respected than others.
The most important buildings in the area are: the Tribune's Palace, an officer elected from the inhabitants to represent them in the Signoria (in fact, this office is the only civil right the poor classes possess), a massive civic tower with the biggest clock in the city and a small garden on its top or the Palazzo Ducale (https://www.planetminecraft.com/project/palazzo-ducale-4588912/) which obviously is an independent residence od the Doge. The main parish church of the district is the church of San Francesco d'Assisi (https://www.planetminecraft.com/project/church-of-san-francesco-d-assisi/), quite modest, but also, I believe, interesting brick structure. Moreover, in front of the doge's residence there's also a small romanesque church of San Salvatore which is no longer used for religious purposes (as it's simply too small).
