Like the Film, the PvP game is set in a time, when America has all-time-low crime rates due to it's new system, "The Purge". The Purge is one day every year, when all crime is legal. The PvP game is set just before the start of 'The Purge', giving participants time to prepare (get weapons or armor, lock up their homes). Then when 'The Purge' starts the aim is to protect their homes and themselves from 'The Criminal'. In the film we see a group of people wearing odd masks. I decided to make these people criminals who are spending time in Jail at the time of 'The Purge' and they are let out of Jail for the event. Their aim is to break into the houses of other players and kill them. If the criminal is killed the role of the criminal is passed on to their murderer, until only one person is left. The game is currently designed for only 4 players but i could soon add more maps that have more player slots.
