Welcome to my really annoying challenge game.

So far, only LEVEL 1 , 2 & 3 are complete. Its basically a button pushing game. soo.. its only SLIGHTLY annoying at the moment. Unless your really lucky and ...smartish… then.. maybe it wont be soooo annoying. But.. heck.. I built the thing and even I got freakin lost and forget how to complete level 1!!!! soo.. guess im not.. smart...ish.

How many buttons will you push before you make it out of LEVEL 2? :D


Please note: I've tested most the mechanics. But, if you find a bug... for instance, You find yourself in a mob challenge room killing more than say... 2 mobs and NOTHING happens.. Please let me know. so I can fix it asap. THANKS!

UPDATE: 07/05/19:
LEVEL 4's design layout is complete. i'll be working next on the command block coding for it. As of level 4, LEVEL 1
rooms will no longer spawn in. So.. you won't be backtracking AS if you click the wrong button.
I also have plans to have the buttons do a few other various things instead of JUST summoning in a button room.

I'm also working on an idea to add in random corridors in between each room. The corridors could feature
parkour elements, or simple maze elements. Or even.. simple mob challenges... or nothing. ..just a nice design.
or maybe a little back lore to the game. and.... where all this button pushing is heading.

NOTES
If your downloading the structure block file from Drop Box...

To play, Create a new 1.14.2 Map, then place the "generated" folder into that saved map folder.


Place down a Structure Block and Load in : "start1"


If you post a video of you playing the game and completing it.. I'll add your video to this post. I'll also add your player name (as a head or as a mob) to the map version of this game.

Squashed a lot of bugs!

Hey everyone,

Sorry I never actually tested the gameplay when I moved it over to the offical map for the game. As is, it was broken out of the box... today.. I did nothing but fix LOTS of bugs that stopped the game.. or made it unplayable after a certain point.

------------------- BUGS SQUASHED----------------------

1 - Fixed issue with Mob Challenge room not working properly. causing you to get stuck after finding a Mob Challenge Room.

2 - Fixed issue with Redstone Blocks not being replaced, which would cause Structure blocks not to spawn in after Romm 7.

3 - Fixed issue with Challenge Rooms Not working properly due to coding in the command blocks.

4 - Fixed issue with Mob challenge rooms NOT summoning in the NExt room in the proper location.

5 - Fixed issue with Scoreboard not reseting the Killmob Score. Which would lead to the Mob Room Being broken.

MAP FIXES:

1 - Fixed issue with The Button not actually casing the game to work.

2 - Fixed minor typo issues in the Journal Books.

3 - Fixed issue with the player being in the wrong gamemode when the game begins.

4 - Fixed issue with spawn area not being in the proper location.


…. Annnnnnddddd thats all it.. :D I think?

I've played thru it twice and was able to get to the end of LEVEL 3. I've summoned in and tested atleast 95% of the command blocks for Rooms 1 - 16

Seriosuly, no one told me or I would have fixed it sooner. Ya...soo ive tested it thru and its not playable
all the way to the end of level 3. :D

It took me 168 Button presses to get there though. :D maybe you can beat me?

Theres a small visual glitch with the ceiling for level 3. (you'll see the redstone that activates the rooms.)

I'm aware of this visual glitch and will be fixing in the next update.


Basically, I have to move a Crap ton of COMMAND blocks up a few blocks and then re-code the /fill command

for several of those same command blocks.


It just a minor visual hiccup. But it'll be fixed in the next update.

The next update will also bring introduce 2 more challenge rooms.
and also a NEW type of challenge room.... The Questions room, answer correct... win a prize.
answer wrong.. move along. You only get 1 shot to answer the questions in the question room.

The next update will feature atleast 2 question rooms as well. They will replace room 4 being summoned in.

Also.. just a future plan... On level 4, You'll stop seeing rooms pop in from LEVEL 1 & 2
Instead, the buttons will do other things that will hinder or help you on your journey.

I've got the room layouts for LEVEL 3 ready, Just work on the coding for it.

Currently i'm working to add in 6 more challenge rooms.

I also need to adjust the LEVELUP 2 reward to send you to the surface of the game map once completed.

Probably the thing im looking forward to working on the most for this map is the maze rooms.
They'll be much ...larger in scope than the basic play areas.

I also want to add in another secret room to try and find for LEVEL 2.

Just want to give a quick update to anyone whos following this project...…

I work on adding in new content every few days to it. But the coding it takes time to test each room to make sure the coding works. I'm just about ready to add LEVEL 2 in.

but i'm doing some tweaks and adding in some additional bonus rooms.

LEVEL 2's update will also have the map ready as well. The map as a small story on it for the fun of it.
I might expand the story and add in some mobs to fight....but that'll come much later.
