Thidranki is highly inspired by MMO game called Dark Age of Camelot. Thidranki was one of the battlegrounds where 3 realms fought against each other while trying to capture the keep. This map is 100% vanilla and replayable. There is two gamemodes, conquest and deathmatch, but the most common one is conquest. This map offers you good and intense pvp action with your friends.
How to play:
Setting up a game
To set up a game, download vanilla minecraft_server file, because it most likely doesn't work with bukkit.
Important settings:
- allow-flight=true
- spawn-npcs=true
- spawn-animals=false
- pvp=true
- enable-command-block=true
- spawn-monsters=true
Instruction
There's three teams, Hibernia, Albion & Midgard, they fight against each other and try to capture and hold the main keep for certain amount of time to win the game. I recommend playing with at least 3+ players.
Death perks & towers
Owning a tower will give you perks everytime you die.
- Green tower, splash potion of slowness
- Red tower, strength potion
- Blue tower, speed potion
Towers are located on each team's island. Believe me, you can't miss them.
Capturing
To capture a point, stand on the pressure plate for a small while until lights goes on, then press your team's button to capture it.
Entering your own base
To enter your base, drop your team's dye into key hole and walk next to the iron door. You should be teleported inside in few seconds. This is to stop enemy team from entering your base and spawn camping you.
Shops & exp
Shops are located upstairs in every team's base. To buy items, you kill mobs on the mob island and sell their loot to npc which is located inside the shopping area.
Bugs
- Shops not giving you items
- Free diamond swords if you have 8 levels
