Long ago, Thornhedge was but a small village with the grand population of 14. Every day they farmed the crops, fed the animals, cut trees for their fires, and tried to live their lives as peacefully as they could. This changed, however, when Jack found a blue stone by the rocks. This stone is the rare lapis gem, which the western lords decorate their castles with. Immediately they set to the construction of a new mineshaft, which proved to be plentiful. Inside they found Iron and coal, but what mattered most was the shiny lapis.Once they've had enough, they set their cart in the direction of the nearest town. Unfortunately, it was intercepted by a band of thieves, who learned of the location of the village and its treasure. The village was sacked and the gems stolen, and no on dared settle again into its ruin. Nowadays, all that remains is the crumbling ruin of the village, but the mine was never again touched, and rumors claim that there are still gems in it. Will you venture inside?
