This floating island, tower and airship is my creative interpretation of my character's house in CreeperCarole's story.
Story (You might have to read CreeperCarole's story to get some of the references):
Tristem was brought to Topia from his home in Iowa about 2 years before Branwen showed up. Tristem immediatly embraced his new surroundings releived at the change from his monotonous life. Creating a stone blade Tristem spent several weeks attacking the zombies and skeletons in honorable combat.
After wondering around for while in this fashion he found a Topian village which he stayed at for 3 days. During which time Tristem like many others before him attempted to communicate with the mysterious cube. Unlike others though Tristem got more creative with his attempts by trying to communicate with it using Japanese, and Elvish. Both of which did not work. After which Tristem set out to find a human settlement that he had heard about from the Topians. It took him nearly a week to reach Morrowind all the while he wished he could simply teleport there or something (even attempting to do so at one point before he remembered that he wasen't actually a mage)
Upon arriving in Morrowind Tristem was greeted by a pair of young men who called Animatrix and Bethamez who showed him around. They quickly became friends over the next few days. Seeing that Morrowind did not have a library Tristem offered to build one at a town meeting. It took some convincing, but Tristem was able to convince the townsfolk of the value of having a Library. Drawing inspiration from some old Topian text Tristem had read Tristem built the Library in the form of a Tower. Once the tower was completed Tristem decided to build his house in the form of an Airship which would be attached to the library. All of which Tristem with the help of Animatrix and Bethamez built with steampunk and magic fantasy as there inspiration.
Also in case your wondering about the name Morrowind is the name of the town in Carole's story I didn't come up with it sorry if it confused you.
