Hullo there. For all of you out there who value both function AND aesthetics (like me), here's a chair. That Minecraft characters (and mobs too, I suppose) can actually sit in. There's also a schematic in case you want to copy and paste them into your map.

TUTORIAL

1. Dig two holes and place down two slabs of DOUBLE half-stone slabs.



2. Place another double half-stone slab on top of one of those.


3. Place a single (NOT DOUBLE) half-stone slab on top of the double slab you just placed.


4. Place a rail on the unused double slab.


5. Place a Minecart atop that rail (it will either not be visible, or very difficult to see.)



6. In order to stop the minecart from sliding off the rail, there needs to be a block in front. Most likely some sort of table or desk of some sort. I'll leave the design up to you, but personally I love using piston tables.
