Houses of the P-44 series are one of the most widespread series erected in Moscow. In terms of development, this is a fundamentally new project. This is the same type of residential section, set in the form of the letter "P"or " G". At the time of mass production of these houses, 10-meter kitchens, halls, the presence of freight elevators – was a relative rarity. During the construction of houses of the p-44 series, three-layer panels with a lock connection were used, which significantly improved the performance of the residential house. Based on this series were developed modifications and other series P-44T, P-44К, P-44 M.

Дома серии П-44 являются одной из самых распространенных серий, возводимых в Москве. В отношении разработки это принципиально новый проект. Это однотипные жилые секции, установленные в форме буквы «П» или «Г». На момент массового выпуска этих домов, 10-метровые кухни, холлы, наличие грузопассажирских лифтов – было относительной редкостью. При строительстве домов серии П-44 стали применяться трехслойные панели с замковым соединением, что существенно улучшило эксплуатационные характеристики жилого дома. На основе этой серии стали разрабатываться модификации и других серий - П-44Т, П-44К, П-44M.
