In the final weeks of World War II, the German front is collapsing. Dwindling supplies, morale at an all time low, and desertion plague the remnants of Nazi Germany's military. What's left of a fanatical German resistance fled into Hamburg as the invading Allied forces close in on the city. During the ensuing battle, a series of distant explosions was heard by both sides.
Days later, the British reached the site of the explosion: a massive crater at a road intersection. The explosion had exposed a U-Bahn station below. Unbeknownst to the British, the Germans had turned the U-Bahn network into a sprawling fortress chocked with makeshift defenses and machine gun hardpoints with help from the local Volkssturm militia.
The British need to use everything at their disposal to destroy any form of resistance that lurks within the tunnels in-order to capture a town hall across the map.

Hello!
This is probably one of my most ambitious projects to date. U-Bahn is set during the Capture of Hamburg fought between British and German forces. The map is loosely based on Operation Underground from Battlefield V. U-Bahn blends a mix of urban and underground combat as engagements are usually concentrated in the underground U-Bahn.
Before conceptualizing U-Bahn I delved deeper into creating a map that would be best suited for urban and underground warfare. During a match of Operation Underground I was inspired to make U-Bahn due to its perfect blend of both urban and underground combat.
Gamemode:
U-Bahn is designed for the Assault gamemode. It has five objectives with the final one being a town hall that has been converted into a commander center for German forces in the city.
Final Note:
As of writing, the map is far from unfinished as evident by the picture gallery. A download will be available once it is fully able to be played on. Also the map is NOT a perfect depiction of Hamburg, it is set in a generic section of the city. However, I do my best to replicate the architecture based on old photos of the city to maintain authenticity.
