I wanted to create an underground world in which you could survive without ever going to the surface. Also, if World War 3 breaks out, this is the place to go.
For this project, I used the fantastic Voxelsniper mod as well as Zombe's modpack on a Bukkit server. Except from the house, everything is made from the buttom with Voxelsniper.
The testificate in the house was abducted from the nearby village in a Minecart. I got the idea from here and had a lot of fun doing it.
I recommend you fly around to get a proper look at it, the buttom layers are so far down that everything is all blurry so you can't see much unless you fly.
If you spawn in a random place for some reason, the entrance is located at
x: -184
y: 72
z: 680
f: 2

or there's a cool mod called sproutcraft that gets rid of bedrock mist :)
Yeah the mist is a problem but on the other hand, it's harder to camouflage it under homemade mountains than a desert for instance. I picked the desert because I knew I would be able to make the surface blend in with the original chunks.
