This is the U.S.S. Nova from Star Trek. The most known vessel of the Nova class is the U.S.S. Equinox featured in the Star Trek Voyager Episodes: Equinox Part I and Equinox Part II. The U.S.S. Nova is the first of her class. It is a science vessel designed for short-term planetary research and analysis. The ship has limited combat capabilities, it has a maximum speed of warp 8 and approximately 80 crewmembers.

The ship is based on the Strategic Design deck plans for the Nova Class and is fully explorable. It isn't precisely accurate to the deck plans because you are a bit limited when you are using blocks and/or I felt that things didn't work out so well in Minecraft

I started this project two years ago and abandoned it when I was about halfway through deck 7. I restarted the project about a month ago and remade some stuff on deck 7. The hull has been done by hand with some assistance from MCEdit.


The U.S.S. Nova has the basic elements found on most of Starfleet's vessels, these include: the Main Bridge, Main Engineering, Transporter Rooms, Sickbay, Science Labs, Security Section, Deflector etc. The ship also has a Waverider yacht attached under the saucer section. It can be accessed on Deck 2. The ship also has landing gear and a landing ramp which can be accessed. (Note: There is currently no version of this ship that has it's landing gear deployed, I may add this in a future update)

The ship has two shuttles, one in the shuttlebay and one in the lower shuttlebay. I've built these shuttles but I did use one of Blibbob's Type 9 shuttlecrafts as an example for the hull so I'll post him in the credits.

There are three airlocks on the ship. one on deck 2 and two on deck 1. I saw these on Atrocities's U.S.S. Nova but I couldn't find them on the deck plans. I decided to put them on my ship because I really think they should be there.
