The Vanguard class is a class of nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarines (SSBNs) in service with the Royal Navy.[​2] The class was introduced in 1994 as part of the Trident nuclear programme, and comprises four vessels: Vanguard, Victorious, Vigilant and Vengeance, built between 1986 and 1999 at Barrow-in-Furness by Vickers Shipbuilding and Engineering, now owned by BAE Systems.

The Vanguard Class submarine is one of three British warships I chose to faithfully recreate in Minecraft. I chose to build these at a 2:3 scale as I personally found 1:1 too large to incorporate into city-build maps.

The other vessels recreated for this collection were the Type 45 Destroyer and the HMS Queen Elizabeth.

The ship is 100 blocks long by 13 wide.
