The VASA

She was built in 1626 by order of Gustav II Adolph. She was originally intended to have a one-layer gun deck, but this was increased to two layers during construction and heavy armament was installed, making her an extremely heavy ship. On August 10, 1628, she made her maiden voyage on a calm day, but after setting sail about 1,300 meters under mast sail, she was hit by a crosswind and overturned and sank.
Later in the 1950s, the possibility was raised that the Vasa’s hull had not decayed and was in a recoverable condition because the Baltic Sea has low water temperatures and oxygen levels and is not inhabited by crucian beetles. Thanks to the efforts of amateur archaeologists, the Vasa was finally raised in 1961, 333 years after its sinking. After a lengthy restoration process, the Vasa has been on display at the Vasa Museum since December 1988. The hull, furnishings, and other parts of the ship have been very well preserved in their original form, providing a valuable source of information on the appearance, construction methods, and equipment of warship of the time.

Inspired by the Vasa created by Desdruktiva, this Vasa was created in three weeks with more attention to detail on the interior and exterior. It is treated as a derivative work of the original work, and the ownership of the work belongs to Desdruktiva.

Sounds odd, but I really like the composition of the screenshots. Position + angle with the shaders looks really good. Besides not just some overviews but more up-close non-standard choices.

Besides, the ship looks darn good.
