Ave Caesares!
This is a 1:1 reconstruction of the villa rustica 'Villa Haselburg' which was located in the Agri Decumates, a region on the east side of the Rhine.
Originally I was not planning to publish this cause it's lacking in beauty in my view; the main problem here is the typical pragmatic roman architecture on normal houses. Although this might be no normal house it is showing its wealth and beauty on the inside which is hard to reconstruct due to the limitations of MC. Though I did my best on the interior the main focus was laid on the proper reconstruction of the whole villa rustica.
And since its been a while without any new uploads or updates I thought it would be a good filler until the next awesome project. And I guessed some of you who are really into roman history would like this too.
So, with this in mind lets take a look onto the villa itself:
The Villa Haselburg is a greater example of a villa rustica and not really like the common ones. The main building is huge for rural standards and the bath building is even more impressive and way bigger than some baths built for whole castellums.
The 'small' temple with the Jupiter Column was a very typical thing in roman germania and the column itself was very colorful (sometimes I hate the MC limitations^^ ).
On the right side of the main building there is a outbuilding with a kitchen and probably some other stuff like room for a blacksmith and such.
There is not much information about the rest of the buildings so I did some improvisation there, it shouldnt be too far from the reality.
The size of the whole complex (especially the bath) and the lack of actual farm buildings suggest that the owner was quite an important person, probably a magister and administrator of a Pagus (a rural district).
As I said before the main focus laid on the whole 1:1 reconstruction thing so I will add here some links to images I used for it.
I also used many references but since all of them are only available in german I wont link them here. However, if one of you is interested in that just send me a message.

(Late answer, sorry; did a pmc break.)
But I remember there are some programms for Mac as well like UnRarX for example ;)
If you still have problems to open it I will send you a link for just the folder without any compression; just tell me.
Thanks for your comment :)
Tis just a suggestion, but why don't you bump up the scale of the build for more interior space to decorate. It will give new challenges but it is a possibility.
Well done!
Would be definitely doable even though I never did something else than 1:1 or freebuild. But then there would probably be a problem about the scale of the furniture which is now pretty good; not perfect but okay in my view. My main complain about the interior is focused on the walls and especially the mural paintings which are very limited due to the outer walls of the building(s) and the whole size.
I would praise Microjang alot if they would add wallpapers or such; romans and their love for murals is sometimes really annoying if it comes to smaller buildings.
tl;dr
I will take your idea and will try to experiment with it a bit; thank you!
