Village Defense is a unique new challenge map, by ME! ^_^ !
This started out when I made a survival map, and was fooling around with superflat world options. I played on it for a while, but with so many ores, it wasn't even remotely hard. I then decided to defend the villagers in a village from the zombies, which proved more of a challenge. Then I thought to myself, THIS COULD BE AN ADVENTURE MAP! And so I made this.
STORY: It was a peaceful night in the small village, and everyone had just gone to sleep. Except for one. The full moon shone down on the sleeping village, and the witch cackled with joy and anticipation. This was a perfect night to cast magic, with the full moon enhancing any magic done by sevenfold. The witch had just practiced some particularly evil magic, and tonight was going to be the night. She twitched her magcal nose, muttered an evil spell, and sent the whole village into the abyss, within an unbreakable sphere of stone, hardened by ancient sorcery. The next morning, when the sun did not come up, the whole village fell into panic. Then, hordes and hordes of zombies started to spawn, and the village was in chaos. The town sorceress managed to send a distress signal.
Away in your own survival world, you hear it a cry for help. Will you answer it?
The rules are outlined in the map, but the goal of the game is to mine to get armor and weapons, and then defend the villagers. When the last villager dies, the game is over. The number of kills when you die is your score (and difficulty you played on). Post your score in the comments, and I will show the people with the highest score. Only play on one difficulty if you want to compete against other people.
