MinecraftTunnel is a semi-vanilla survival/build server that has been online for well over three years!
We strive to have a great server for people to play on.
We try to achieve this by having a dedicated staff and spending
countless hours in-game trying to make our server the best for all members.
Our server is no longer grey-listed, which means you can simply join and start playing!
We use TeamSpeak as a voice-chat server, you can talk to others if you have a mic.
Any grief and theft is easily rollbacked by our mods and admins!

World Information
We recently added a new 1.8 main-world, 20,000 x 20,000 size along side the massive 40000 x 40000 old world.
It's one of the largest you can find on multiplayer servers! But it
does not stop there. We also have multiple other worlds such as the 'Farm world'
where you can gather resources in a mob free environment like a madman
without having to worry about the landscape. The other worlds currently
consist of the nether and the End. We realize navigating on such big worlds is rather difficult which is why we have a livemap!
A Beginner's Guide to MinecraftTunnel
Now you may wonder what you can do on our server..
Well it's a semi-vanilla survival/build server so you can do whatever minecraft allows you to do!
When
you login for the first time, you will have to jump down the Eiffel
Tower and you'll receive some information messages. There are useful
things at spawn for you to use: Free cooked chicken by pressing on a
button at the messageboard, a lvl 30 enchantment table, crafting tables,
anvils and McMMO (salvage) anvils. Once you have some food you can
either look around spawn or you can use /warp southroad, /warp northroad, /warp eastroad or /warp westroad to get out of the spawn protection area.
Now
you can do whatever you like to do, go out on an adventure in the
massive world or start a house anywhere that's not claimed by signs or
houses or ... (You can claim an area by simply building on it and
placing some signs with your name on them)
You will notice when
right clicking with a tool, you'll get a message. This is because we
have a plugin called McMMO. This plugin adds a lot of skills to
minecraft which makes it more fun in the longterm! Check these skills by
doing /mcstats or read info about a particular skill by doing /mining
for example. The message you get is the ability of a particular skill!
We
do not have a virtual currency but instead trade with real minecraft
items. We use the PhysicalShop Plugin. You can buy and sell items for
Diamonds, Iron, Gold or Emeralds.
Go to /warp market to learn how to use it.

- Economy (Gain money and sell items for $)
Zero Griefing & Theft Policy
Our
server is strict agains griefing. Any griefs & thefts will be
rolled back immediately by an admin or moderator, and the griefer or
thief will be banned and posted on our forums.
Your buildings are completely safe with us. The donation ranks on our
server gives you WorldGuard region protections which let you protect
areas of your land where only you and your friends can edit blocks
within. You'll never have to worry about griefers wasting your time and
killing the fun again.
Please lock your chests, furnaces, doors to protect you from theft!
You can lock something by typing in /lock and then clicking on the object you want to lock!
you can add friends to a lock by typing in /cmodify nameOfFriend and clicking on the object
You can completely unlock something by doing /unlock
Rules
Our
rules are fair to keep the server clean from trolls, spammers or simply
people who don't care about playing. If you're banned you can open a
ban dispute on our forums but posting a dispute doesn't guarantee that
you'll be unbanned. If you're banned, it's your own fault! This is not a full list of rules, but these are the main ones:
- no griefing, stealing or breaking into locked homes
- no excessive cursing in chat or being rude to other players
- no spamming or using caps locks excessively, it's considered spam
- be nice to all players! Treat how you want to be treated.
- No abusing exploits or bugs that could cause personal gain.
They may be updated at any time with or without notice and if any are
broken we reserve the right to ban you from our server and forums. So
please keep it clean and abide to continue playing.
We have three ways of dealing with players who do not abide the rules.
- A Temporary ban of one to fourteen days
- A Ban until a good appeal has been made, use the ban appeal format.
- Permanent ban
is a maximum of 3 temporary bans, but this is not strict at all! If you
start breaking the rules again then you may find yourself permanently
banned.
If you are banned and the message says "Appeal at minecrafttunnel.com" then you must make a ban appeal here which we will accept or deny.

The community is fantastic and really friendly, the maps are amazing and there are plays for multiple servers being linked to a server hub here.
