CONCEPT:
Remember the old good factions servers back in the days? Are you one of the old school players that miss a simple plain faction server to grind on? Well I do. Therefor I am working on a server with pure factions just as the good old days. Although we can't ignore the fact that there has been a lot of improvements in the gameplay, and which features you can add to a server over the years. This made me thinking how I could keep the old factions concept and still add some more fun to it to make it more unique. Let me present the ideas I am working on so far:
NO PAY2WIN!
Are you tired of always playing on servers where people can buy their way to the top? Well that won't be the case here. We are working on keeping the server costs low as possible and still provide you an lag free smooth playing experience. There will be options to support the server with a small donations for small cosmetics upgrades or something like that. Not sure quite yet about that part. But it will not be able to affect the gameplay in any circumstances!
We will have ranks on the server tho which will reward you! But you are going to make your way to a rank all by yourself with only playing on the server without having to lift your wallet. This will take us over to the competetive part!
COMPETETIVE RANKS
There will be two types of ranks you can gain on the server. One of them is to simple gain playtime and you will unlock extra bonuses. The other part is more competetive, you will rankup by doing well in the game such as kills, how well your factions are doing it, mob kills, your farming skills, and much more. (will list everything when its ready)
CREATIVE WORLD W/ WORLDEDIT
I want to keep the server simple and not really add multiple gamemodes to be focusing 100% on the factions part. But if you need a break for grinding in the factions world, then you can head over to the creative world to experiment with your building skills. For example you can make a concept for your new base! There will also be worldedit available for you at no extra cost. Maybe there will be added some more cool stuff to play with in the creative world.
GAMEPLAY
You are able to raid and grief other bases, if you are skilled enough to break into them then ofc. You will be able to break obsidian with an x amount of TNT. This means that you gotta outsmart your enemys!
The PVP mechanism for the server will be the old school style with no cooldown!
EXTRA
You can easy access the shop at any time by using /shop for selling and buying ingame items.
Test your PVP skills against other players in the PVP arena basement under the spawn.
You will ofc not be able to logout during pvp with our pvp logger.
The different ranks will include free cosmetics such as nicknames, hats, pets and more to come.
