This is a hardcore survival rule set with full on pvp but no griefing is allowed.
Acyrid is a very young server beginning our 3rdn month of life. Up until this point we have only allowed a small select group of players onto our server while we were in beta tests. We are in our final stage of testing and are now ready to fully open up to the general populace.

The world we have envisioned for Acyrid is a world of player run cities competing for control. The world will has 4 Non-Player Controlled cities that house localized markets. These citiesn are the only non-pvp areas in our world. Player built cities are fully featured and rhobust via the Towny plugin. Furthermore players are not dependent upon the npc cities, player-run shops can be built in cities as well as graveyards added to them. The graveyards add to the mmo feel by allowing you to respawn on death at the nearest graveyard. Our npc markets are not static buy and sell prices either, they are fully dynamic and adjust based upon supply and demand. But do not get wrapped up so fully in pvp that you forget about pve. Acyrid also supports custom mob loot tables, including coin drops, a bounty system for insuring your enemies demise. A monthly overnight hunt takes place in game(in-game month) with bonus rewards for the brave, and dungeons with old forgotten portals exist hidden in this world. Remember though nothing is free in Acyrid, Admins/Mods will not change the time to day, or end storms. You will not find items being handed out freely, or people being warped around at request here. You start with 200 coins and a your fists of fury. The purpose of this world is to provide a challenge that is becoming harder and harder to find on multiplayer servers. We respect peoples ability to both build and fight here thus we allow full on pvp everywhere in our world. We do not allow griefing. By this we mean you cannot destroy others work, and we do not welcome players here whose sole immature intentions are to piss other people off. You will get killed here, you will lose items here, and if you are a good enough player to handle that you will rise up and you will spill the blood of others and claim what was theirs.

• How long does it take to get approved? Generally under 30 mins, but it depends on the time of day, max wait will be less than 12 hours.
  
  
• Are you still accepting staff applications?We will be accepting new staff applications within the next week, note however that we will be being HIGHLY, and I can't stress the word highly enough, selective on anyone whom we appoint to our staff.
  
  
• Is there a donation system? There is a donation and a microtransaction system that will be released when we move out of our final testing phase.
  
  
• Do you allow flying/speed/x-ray modifications? No,n there is no form of CHEATING, as that's what these are, allowed on thisn server. You can try it if you'd like, you will be logged, you will be nbanned.
