PortalCraft
=========

Why is it called PortalCraft?
-----------------------------------
The reason for this is that i wanted to create a server that acts as a portal to play whatever you want! Whether it be minigames, survival games as its own game, survival or just building on creative.
Along with the opportunity to win prizes and perks to use in the game! How you play is how you want as long as you follow the rules which for the most part are just common sense!

What are these minigames you speak of?
----------------------------------------------------
Currently we have several minigames and i will explain each one.

Hunger Games
==============
The Hunger games doesn't really need an explanation due to its popularity but we do have a few maps, we are working on more but currently we have "Varrock" from Podcrash as well as the original map copied like the movie by an unknown author.

Team Fortress Two
==================
This is the highly popular capture the points game and the map we currently have is Dustbowl made by Hypixel! We have a bunch of regular classes such as Soldier, Demoman, Scout, Heavy and Medic. If you want to know what they have you can try them out yourself as i want to shorten this, Sniper, Spy and Pyro classes are for VIP's unfortunately as servers need donations to keep them up and donators need reasons to donate.

The Walls
=========
Currently the walls is not open, it works completely intended except for the fact the place does not regenerate after the game, more will be added here shortly!

Snowfall
=======
All kudos goes to the plugin maker chylex who made this awesome minigame plugin, this was inspired by a video from generikb who came up with the game. What happens in this game is you take turns to choose which blocks of snow will go, kinda like spleef and eventually it comes to a point where people will not have any blocks to break and will be forced to lose. Its a very fun game and there are many arenas currently!

Spleef
======
Currently the spleef arena is simple, spleef is where you dig the snow in the arena to try and be the last person standing, its a very easy game to understand, mastering it can be a different story. Currently a new arena for spleef is being made.

Paintball
========
This hasn't been configured yet but an arena has been made for it!

Team Deathmatch
=================
This is kinda self explanatory but two teams face each other in this awesome game! I spent ages making the map that we have for this and it is really good! I made it over a time period of 2 months, its not the biggest but it provides some good action so why not try it?

Capture The Flag
================
For this is used a call of duty map (hardhat), its fairly small so its intended for few people, i also made a bigger version, much bigger called race which is intended for ~8 people minimum. Its an interesting mechanic, for the small version you try to capture the others flag whereas the big version you race to get the flag from the center.

SINGLE PLAYER GAMES

Parkour
=======
Currently there is an almost impossible parkour system i created while taking inspiration from another parkour structure. Its fairly difficult but if you can beat it, without checkpoints, and get it on video! You will get a free VIP package! Even more if you can do it with nausea and blindness effect too! You'll get the premium package!

Maze
=====
Currently we have a large maze, when i get round to it i want to make more of them but its fairly difficult, very easy to get lost, you are allowed to use rei's minimap if you wish, the first time you get through the maze you'll get a diamond!

SURVIVAL
=========

Protection
=========
Currently the survival part is the most well done, the reason for this is that the server was originally a survival server and it has many plugins to help make it even more fun! You can protect your land on here with a golden shovel by right clicking two corners, you can also protect chests with lockette by right clicking them with a sign.

Spawn
=======
The spawn area has a large amount of information as well as acting as a main hub for warps and is therefore designed to be a large social area where people will go to day by day to move to new areas and talk to people! There is a bunch of warps on the second floor which take you to landmarks, biomes and carefully made starting areas!

Information Board
=================
At the spawn there is an information board containing a few statistics and goals as well as possible rewards, although not guaranteed. The information includes the rules and last donation received. The goals include total forum members, total unique visitors and total donations. There is also a few links there such as where to donate, the website, the forums, how to get cheap server hosting and my personal YouTube channel.

Rules

Sorry to say but every server has to have rules or it would just be mayhem!
For the most part these are common sense but please read them carefully so we don't end up banning you and the experience is fun for all the visitors.

[1] Don't ask for ranks or mod.
[2] Don't ask for items from staff.
[3] Respect the hard working staff.
[4] No hacks or modded clients. Rei's minimap allowed.
[5] No exploiting glitches or bugs.
[6] No destroying spawn area or warps.
[7] Use common sense for everything else.
[8] Have fun

General Creative

There will soon be a general normal generated world for creative mode.

Flatland Creative
===============
There is currently a world that is flat made for creative mode however since 1.5.1 multiworld has shown an issue, a ticket has been sent and will be sorted ASAP!

PlotWorld

Same as previous, when this is fixed you will be able to claim a plot to build on.
