Dawn of the Ring is a survival server that mainly uses the Lord Of The Rings mod. A custom mod for Minecraft based on the Lord of the Rings and other literary works of J.R.R Tolkien. As well as a multitude of other mods, which differentiates this server from many others. What makes this server stand out is the nearly unlimited potential for builders and architects to go nuts. This server offers alot of new and exciting blocks and items for greatly customized building, the things players have created are truly amazing.
And the best part is, IT IS ALL IN Middle-Earth! I mean, how cool is that!?!?


The server is owned by SinzPet and LuckySilverStar, who had played on the LOTR mod for about 1 and a half years before starting this server together. They pride themselves on being some of the most fair server owners out there, which is highly reflected in the server's well thought out and fair rules (much inspired by the great rules of TOS, The Official Server of the LOTR mod).

On the server, players choose where in Middle-Earth they want to spawn by using the Faction Choice system, instead of spawning in the shire like you usually do in the LOTR mod. Once the choice is made, the player is gifted some basic items and some alignment with the people living in the biome the player chose.
This system is appreciated very much in the community, and we have gotten many compliments on it.

The Community is great, the gameplay is great, there is a modpack for the server, and the potential to build really nice structures is truly amazing.
There really isn't much left that we can tell you, you will have to come online to see it all for yourself :)

Please use the Technic Laincher Modpack to join the server, as we have a
very custom menu and your experience will be much greater if you do.
