Love this server. I have been a part of it sense 2013. I have looked around at other servers but none of them are quite like this one. I mostly live out in the wild building large structures.

Come join the empire, we are waiting for you.

Good people working hard to have a server to play Minecraft the way they want to. Better yet, they let everyone else join them. You will never run out of people to meet and sights to see. Some excellent builders have passed through here and have left monuments for others to see,

Empire Minecraft (EMC) is by far the best server that I have seen - and believe me, I've seen a lot of servers.

Shel there did a wonderful job of the summary of the server so I'm just going to skip all that :P
What I'm trying to say is, that joining EMC was a blessing for me and it will be for you too.

Finally... it took you long enough! :D

For the record: I am biased just as much as I'm passionate and as soon as I noticed this... this is what happens.

If you enjoy Minecraft there is a good chance that you'll enjoy the Empire. Note: Minecraft. EMC is what I personally like to refer to as "Vanilla+": you are probably going to hate not having MCMMO (trust me: many players tried suggesting this), you may get confused about not being able to /tpa and then do your stuff. You may even find it awkward that you can't just "mine yourself in" and then quickly teleport away just at the nick of time. Bzzzzzt.

See, the thing is: Empire Minecraft ("EMC") is all about Play your way but while trying to stay true to the regular Minecraft gameplay. If you check this stuff out you'll notice the catch phrase and trust me: it's more than just a catch phrase, it is true. However, the strong emphasis lies on Minecraft, vanilla with a twist. It can take getting used to but it can also get very addictive :)

Town world is somewhat static. 60x60 plots, never resetting (for active players), do your thing. But no mobs, no danger, yet still (residence) teleporting, and other nice custom features, such as /trade.

Don't like this? Enter the Frontier. Survival building world, creepers are out to get you and if you think that's no big deal wait until you meet up with the enraged creepers. No... I did not mention charged creepers, I meant enraged. There is a huge difference, just trust me on this for now :) Ending up not liking the custom mobs? Easy: just turn them off.

Survival with a twist and guess what? No resets. If you want to take 3 years to build something in survival then this is your place. Also noteworthy: the compass actually works on the Empire :)

Sounds lame? Sounds boring? Resets are there for a reason (don't bother telling me, I heard the stories). Simple really: build in the mining world, called 'wastelands' on EMC. One of the few worlds which DOES reset. Just not too often :) And do make sure you don't leave behind what you're not willing to loose. We get warnings but always be prepared..

BTW: if you do come online don't be surprised if you don't see 90+ players all at once. EMC is all about diversity and communities. It has 10 servers (SMP1 to SMP9 + Utopia (supporter server)) and each has their own community, it's identity, veteran players and all that.

There is more than meets the eye on EMC.
