About Muddy Puddles: Vanilla Cake

Muddy Puddles: Vanilla Cake is back and currently looking for new and active community members. My hope is to rebuild a tiny close knit and collaborative community that offers a 100% vanilla SMP experience 24/7. Muddy Puddles: Vanilla Cake is geared toward grownup gamers (preferably 21+ and no younger than 18) who are interested in creating and maintaining a collaborative community. While I have enjoyed each of the roles I've had on various servers (from player to moderator and admin to owner) I've found that maintaining a server as an owner can become very overwhelming, thus making it harder to enjoy the game as time moves forward. However, I feel if all members of a community help with maintaining both the community and server, no one individual will ever feel overwhelmed. I believe this will give the community the best possible chance to remain active and thrive.

So What does all this really mean? Basically, I am looking for a small group of players (around 8-10) who are interested not only in playing on the server, but in helping with server upkeep, as well as helping to maintain an active community even in my absence. The ideal community members will be grownup gamers who are interested in playing in a collaborative community, while helping to maintain this thread and look over applications for new members when old members become inactive. A small core group will also help by keeping the server updated and running smoothly as a user on the multicraft control panel.

Additional Information

The server difficulty is set to hard, which means players can starve to death, and zombies can break doors. Creeper damage on the surface is not disabled, so any creeper damage to the environment as well as structures must be repaired. PVP is on; however, Muddy Puddles: Vanilla Cake is a collaborative community, so if it becomes a detriment to the server, it will be disabled. Mob grinders can be built for the community in or near the spawn town. Unfortunately, personal mob grinders are prohibited purely for the sake of keeping the server running as smoothly as possible. Similarly, map exploration and redstone contraptions are permitted provided they are not hurting the performance of the server. In other words, if your goal is to explore the map in one direction for 40 Minecraft days and nights straight or to build a super redstone computer, this might not be the server for you.
