A faction server is a server type that allows the creating of factions, also known as clans or guilds. Being part of a faction allows you to embed yourself into a whole new Minecraft experience. You can protect your land from being raided by other factions with your friends, you can create a town for friendly players, while also fighting all unwanted forces against you.
