Obtain the Grain, OTG, is a hardcore 1.20.1 Minecraft server with an extraction fantasy type of Minecraft RPG PvPvE adventure loot collecting gamemode. Our mission is to offer players a fun new gameplay loop built off of what makes Minecraft so great:
- We use a custom resource pack on OTG that requires you have 1.20.1 OPTIFINE downloaded and installed before joining.
- Resource pack includes: 500+ Unique Textures; which includes, 55+ Armor Textures, 20+ Custom Elytra's, 20+ Custom Hats, 100+ Unique Weapons, 200+ Custom Fishing Items/Fish, 50+ Custom Model Mobs, 50+ Unique Treasure Items, Custom healing items/food, tools and more!

- 10 Unique Themed PvPvE Islands to explore and loot. Each Island has 3-5 Points of Interests for fast travel with a dungeon to delve into that has a BOSS at the end and a mine to gather resources from. Once inside of any dungeon you WON'T be able to use any teleport commands or other certain commands, this is where you must extract from. Dungeons have the best loot to find!
- 100+ Unique land enemies to fight and 20+ bosses to find!
- 50+ Unique ocean enemies/fish to fight!
- 200+ NPCs with 150+ Leveling/Daily Quest's and a Main Adventure Quest.
- /Rankup system to make your kit equipment stronger, unlock warps & more. 15+ ranks!
- Use /kit to open the gui and view the kits you have access to!
- Keep track of your thirst with a custom bar above health and food.
Toggle thirst bar by using /thirst toggle!
- Magic Health System: You can find heart dust, to craft heart shards then craft those into heart crystals. When consuming a heart crystal you will gain +1 permanent heart and can gain a maximum of +10 extra hearts. There are many items on OTG that will allow you to push your max health further, but this is the only permanent method.
- Hardcore Health System: Legs can break and you'll need a splint to fix. You can get cut and bleed so you'll need a bandage. You can get sick with the flu so you'll need medicine and antibiotics for infections. Use /health to view your ailments. Buy medicinal supplies from the doctor with /shop. New players will be given 24 hours of immunity against ailments.
- Improved Sleep System: Get buffed for having a proper sleep schedule! Go without sleeping and you may develop insomnia.
- Simple Attribute System: The longer you stay alive the more your attributes climb. Use /attributes
- Custom Fishing System: Custom fishing that adds minigame where you can catch 200+ uniquely textured fish, treasure, monsters and other goodies! Fishing rods are rare, dropped by tough enemies in the dungeon. You can improve your fishing rod by purchasing bait from the Bait & Tackle shop. This is where you can purchase an upgraded fishing rod as well. Use /sellfish to get paid for your catch!
The fish you'll catch will depend on the island you're at! Use /lfish catalog to view all fish!
- Mines for resources. (Building and breaking of blocks is limited to mines and plots.) Mines can by found in the town/village poi of each island and in the dungeons.
- Dynamic /shop with multiple trader npcs selling goods in the /spawn Kingdom, prices fluctuate!
- Player Plots for rent in spawn and on every island! Rent gets more expensive the higher the level!
Be sure to pay your rent on time or else your plot will be WIPED and made available for another player!
- PvPvE: 1 Safezone per Island. If it does not say "Safezone" in the lore when viewing a fast travel location in the warp gui then you can expect PvP to be allowed there!
- 100+ Unique Monsters with unique drop tables.
- 15+ Custom Bosses with unique drop tables.
- 10+ Custom Raid Bosses with incredible drop tables.
- Loot Chests (Crafting of most items is banned, you'll have to loot for the things you need!)
- Built in dynamic economy with an emphasis on a player driven market. Use /trade when close to another player to safely exchange items!
- /Guild to party up with friends! This will not prevent friendly fire.
- Buy pets at the /petshop in the Kingdom and level them up with XP!
- Use /markets to view all of the player markets. Build a book of business!
- Use /contracts to create jobs or accept jobs from other players. Build a reputation!
- Use /vault and /backpack for extra storage!
- Lootcrates in the Kingdom to unbox rare loot! Acquire keys by looting monsters!
- Trade Stocks at the Kingdom Treasury located underneath the Kingdom or find it in the /warp gui!
- Casino games located on level 6: /rankup to unlock the fast travel!
- To support OTG use /buy and access our premium shop. Automatically delivers package upon purchase!
- Use /rulebook to view all of the rules and guidelines that you MUST follow as a player on the OTG-MC Server. Please do not download or use any kind of cheats or hacked clients to gain an unfair advantage and this includes using flight, full-bright, walking on water, speed, x-ray, cave finder, lag devices, PvP reach, kill aura, auto fishing, and so on. Hacking after warning will NOT be tolerated here on obtain the grain. If you are suspected of using hacks to gain an unfair advantage then you may be jailed at anytime and asked to share your screen in the official OTG discord server. If you leave during this process or if it is revealed that you are using a modded/hacked client or any kind of cheats then you will receive a PERMANANT BAN from the OTG Minecraft Server. Using another account to bypass the ban may result in an IP-BAN. If it is obvious that you were using cheats or hacking in anyway whether that be from video evidence or admin visual then you will receive a PERMANANT BAN from the OTG Minecraft Server instantly. The only mod allowed is OPTIFINE and if you have any questions about that please ask the OWNER before assuming the software that you're using is permitted. Purchasing from the premium shop WILL NOT grant any kind of immunity for cheating.
- FREE lootcrate keys for a LIMITED TIME only can be obtained in /buy menu for all NEW players!
This server DOES NOT use P2W tactics, you can find and buy these keys easily in game!
