Hello and welcome, to Silvania: Creative! This is a creative server but with a bit of a twist:

How it works
You define a self-protected area in which to build. Starting with an area of roughly 48x48, you can buy more land by playing! Spending roughly 15-20 minutes online will give you enough to buy another 16x16 cube of land. Coming in a group? You can stake a plot together and get bonus land all in one claim! Alternatively, you can join an existing group by giving them a cut of your starting money - one town has over 10 residents already after just a day!

Economy System
We use an economy! Yes, a creative server with an economic system! It works by using money to pay other members to help you out - money is then used to buy more land for your own claim. Money is given as roughly 1.5-2.5 "Silva" every minute, as well as mobs dropping it whilst fighting in Survival mode. (coming soon).

Each 16x16 claim costs 25 Silva. You have a limited number of claims (32 per member of your area) but you can buy extra at a total cost of 50 silva each - to a total of 50 extra. This makes a total area of 1312 blocks! PLUS any residents you get in your claim add 32 more each, so the possibilities are endless.

How to Join?
Easy! Simply connect to 74.91.27.186:25568! Once you've joined, just post on this thread saying "I've successfully joined" or something similar to let us know you're online, and we'll come and help you with whatever you need.

Rules
We don't have many rules but as all servers we have a few:
1. Never ask for op or special privileges. You'll just be banned. We ARE hiring two moderators - see comments.
2. No "grief towns" - towns created to just place lava etc.
3. No client mods eg noclips - you can (and should) use Spoutcraft as we have custom blocks
4. No spamming
5. No excessive swearing. Minimal swearing is fine, jsut don't be offensive.
6. Read the signs at spawn so you know how to get going - you can set yourself up fine if you do that.

Other stuff you need to know
Firstly, the server is running spout. Don't know what Spout is? To put it short, its a server and client modification which allows us to do many things - the biggest of which is adding custom blocks. We are currently in the process of porting donator packs to the server - special sets of blocks picked from our primary servers repo of over 700! One of these packs is available to everyone - the Painted pack, offering wood, stone, cobblestone, glowstone and obsidian in a range of colours! It's easy to use Spoutcraft - just click HERE, download the .exe or .app and run it, log in and play! Easy!

Second, we do have our own forums. The forums are designed for all the Silvanian servers, but Creative has its own section. You can register and post on the forums at www.silvania.co.uk/forums - the name of the server for registering is just Silvania.
These forums have all sorts of information, on things like server status, donation options from as low as $0.50 and just a general place to talk and show off your creations! Register now and come talk to us!

Finally, some important things for when you log in. You will not be able to build instantly, you must do the following:
1. Fly around and find some land you like in the area marked "Wilderness"
2. Type /town new [name] - obscene names will result in the town being removed without warning.
3. Type /money - note your balance
4. Type /money deposit [any amount you like] If you do not do this your town will be automatically removed at 4AM GMT
5. Walk just outside your claim so it says "Wilderness" again - type /town claim to expand your land.

For any additional town help, type /town ? - remember, you don't actually have to make a town, you can make ANYTHING you like!

Server Specifications and Information
We are currently running this on a dedicated 8gb box, which is running four servers. This is much better than various VPS servers you see around which are often the same kind of box running over a hundred servers! All four of these servers are owned by Silvania, and links to the others can be found below.
The server is hosted in the US, so most of you should have no issues connecting. We are using minimal plugins so you shouldn't experience any lag at all!

Tell me about the Silvania Group
The first Silvania server was started on Dec. 9, 2010. Since then it has evolved through many stages and eventually branched out to become four servers:

Silvania: This server is light roleplay, with quests, adventures and a town system. It has over 500 custom blocks! The server is greylist, you may connect now but cannot do anything without applying. The IP is 74.91.27.186

Silvania: Aftermath: This is a hardcore/roleplay server, set to hard mode. It is free-for-all, griefing and PvP allowed but is strictly RP only. It is whitelist only and a good bio is needed in order to join (to prove you can RP) To apply, Click Here

Silvania Testing Grounds: This is our Dev Server, which is whitelist only. You can apply to come join it on our forums to get a preview of whats to come on the other servers!
