A Server With a Story

Almost midnight, lying in bed.
Your room falls to silence, the wind howling outside, brushing against the glass. The cold air from the vents passing through, quickly filling the space around. Tossing and turning, covering yourself up with blankets in order to keep the cold at bay.
You cover your head, it takes forever trying to fall asleep. Then you realize, it isn’t the cold thats keeping you awake. Something feels wrong, feels off. Voices... sounds... fill your ears, but you are awake, how could it be the voices from a dream?
That is the thing that feels off, you have no clue where these are coming from. You quickly sit up and look around. The voices immediately cease, and the room stand still. The voices... they must have been a dream. You get up, desperately needing some water, something to calm you down.
Walking over to the door, you feel like the ground isn’t there, but clearly it is. The door is only a few feet away and you go to leave. The door is locked. There is no lock on the door. You just stare at it, push it, pull it, do anything just to get out.
The room shifts, a simple whisper can be heard, filling the room.
“Who, who is there? Please, I.. I don’t understand.” You look around the room, everything still, you try for the door again, still locked. Upon turning around, the back half of your room is broken up, floating, as though an entrance to a new world. You slowly approach it, something drawing you closer and closer.
You can smell fresh grass, hear a stream, and the voices are growing. In the swirling abyss that you see, a tower stands, a tower and a light. Near the tower it seems as if there is a force, something that is drawing you closer, and filling the air with a blanket of protection. A hand, simply comes forth out of the void. A voice booms in your head:
“Come... take my hand. The world is new, the world is fresh. Come to a place where your dreams will no longer be dreams. Come... come to Fel’Arthia!”

You have been invited to the World of Fel'Arthia. At present, for reasons unknown, but maybe... just maybe... it is up to you to make your own fate here, to carve out your own legend. That hand that grabbed you may prove to be your friend or enemy, but whatever it is... it completely changed your life.
StoryCraft is a minecraft server. We love to build, but we also love to tell stories. We do this on our website (storyc.enjin.com) but we also do it on the server, through our builds, events, contests and everything really. This might not be something for you, but don't worry, there are an almost infinite number of ways to play minecraft on StoryCraft, and we accept most of them.

Well, let me try and give you a few reasons for you to come online and meet the StoryCraft family:
* Ranks and Quests: On StoryCraft we have a simple system that allows you to rank up more or less on your own. It requires that you succeed at various quests, all of which can be found on our website.
* Contests, Challenges and events: On StoryCraft we strive to keep the server moving along a timeline, and this means that you can expect weekly events and challenges and monthly contests, like building contests.
* Creative Applications: On StoryCraft we want everyone to have the possibility of building epic structures in Creative gamemode. However, it requires that you make a good application on the website.
* Towny: On StoryCraft we loves towns, because towns are full of history. Everyone can build a town with the towny plugin, however, there is a price to pay of course.
* Survival, Staff and players: Yes, we love Survival on StoryCraft. This is the default gamemode for everyone, even staffmembers. Staff keep us safe, but otherwise, they are not treated that different from players on our server.
* No donations: We don't accept donations on StoryCraft, so... if you want any privileges here, you need to do all the hard work yourself, but hey... that's very rewarding!
