In the year 1178 AD, the Norman nation in Southern Ireland was at ito s peak in power. Thanks to the King and his court, it had flourished with trade and resources, but it was not always so as the citizens tell.

Their current King, King Laurens De Clare had not always been in power, and bringing the prosperity the people enjoy now. Laurens was the eldest sibling to a family of four sons in the royal house. His brothers fought with him constantly, and his father condoned it to weed out of the weak. Luckily for young Laurens, a flu had spread through the city, though it sadly wiped a good chunk of the population, it took out his father and siblings. He rose to power at the age of 14.

But his court was ruthless, they wanted the power of the throne for themselves. And he found it difficult to keep the throne and his court in line. He had no allies and such, and knew he needed them, so he looked for a wife. With France being a weak nation, and the remnants of the old Roman Empire scattered, he looked to a fair one, called Spain. He met with the king, and was allowed to marry the kingo s eldest daughter, Princess Luccia.

During their first year of marriage, he consolidated power. Along with trying for a heir, which sadly was not meant to enter the world, and died during birth, it was only a time of growing powerful. But during the second year, when the King was 16, their son Thomas was born to the world. Prince Thomas was born healthy and strong, and his father refused to have another child until his son was ready to take the throne.

During these years, the city has begun to prosper with their new alliance with Spain, and many immigrants come here for wealth and opportunity. I do not know what you are. Are you a Merchant wishing to make a living, or a soldier wishing to fight for the king? Who knows, not my business. Just keep out of trouble and you may enter the city. Move Along!



Butcher:

A butcher is a merchant who will sell any and all meats he cooks and prepares. He is usually associated with hunters, since he requires their services to get meat.
Starting Items: Knife, Coal, Furnace

Doctor:

A doctor is a man or woman who has spent many years learning how to heal the sick. Working around blood and mutilated body parts can be rather common, and they are always brave when facing a dying patient.
Starting Items: GoldenApple, Bandages, Scalpel

Herbalist:

Herbalist is a minor doctor who, when lacking knowledge on how to perform surgery, are skilled in making potions and herbs to help heal colds and disease. They are also highly skilled in knowing what ails a man or woman who is sick.
Starting Items: Netherwart, Alchemy Stand, Soul Sand

Priest/Priestess:

Priest spread the word of God, and try to save many souls from the fires of hell. Especially since Druidism has appeared to leave the world, they try to consolidate power for the church. They are also a median between herbalist and doctors.
Starting Items: Bible, Bandages, Netherwart

Tailor:

These are the people who make all the clothing for the people. They are well known to make high quality leather armor, and work hard to ensure anyone is clothed, and also are well known to get plenty of wool for carpeting and nice clothes.
Starting Items: Leather, Needle, Wool

Blacksmith:

The men and woman who work the forges are strong and hard worked. But the use of them is extraordinary. They are skilled in making anything of metal, and are well known to make armor of all kinds.
Starting Items: Iron, Anvil, Coal

Mercenary:

Foreigners that come into the land, or anyone who cannot land a job in the military. Though many try to join so they earn a steady pay, they are the people who defend the innocent of the city, though many times for a paycheck.
Starting Items: Iron Sword, Leather Chest, Iron Axe

Druid:

Merchant:

The jack of all trades. They sell absolutely anything they can get their hands on. Though they never focus on one item, they are well known to go into the Bar and Inn business. And tend to own a rather nice business, though they cannot forge anything. They cannot make their own wares, however, if they own an inn or bar, they can make alcohol.
Starting Items: Wares, Iron Dagger, Raw Food

Huntsman:

Men of the hunt, they go into the wilderness and gather anything that can be taken from an animal. They are needed for multiple areao s of the economy. From getting leather and wool for a tailor, to gathering meat for the butcher. They are only good at making a bow and arrows however.
Staring Items: 64 Arrows, Bow, Knife

Miner:

The men who work their lives in the mines. They gather the resources needed to make a smith and anyone happy. They work mostly for the minero s guild, since that allows them to earn a steady pay and have a good chance to sell their wares. They also are fair at makin their own picks.
Starting Items: Iron Pickaxe (2), Torches, Knife

Farmer:

The men of the fields, they gather the wheat and plants for the nation to eat. They can sell their crops to citizens, though find it easier to sell to a baker or someone who can work the items.
Starting Items: Iron Hoe, Seeds (multiple kinds), Wheat

Baker:

They can make the sweets for anyone who wants them. They also make the easiest to get food source, bread. They are loved by customers and farmers go to them often.
Starting Items: Eggs, Sugar, Buckets

Child: (Only profession, but can become an Apprentice)

A person under the age of 14 in the nation. They must have a parent or guardian, but do not need to work. They can work as apprentices to anyone however. Also many go to School to become educated with a higher chance of getting a better job.
Starting Items: Wooden Sword, Redstone Repeater (Toy), A cookie
