IMPORTANT: If you want to join the server you should follow this guide.
You need a specific version of forge or else you won't be able to connect to any servers or open a single player world!

How on earth am I supposed to play this? I cannot get my Pixelmon to correctly work because every time I try to join the server or even a single-player world, I crash.

I am perfectly fine playing on the most recent version (Pixelmon Reforged 6.3.2), but I am struggling to figure out why my version 6.2.3 does not work. Do you have any suggestions? I have tried to play with Minecraft Forge, the Pixelmon client itself, and the Technic launcher (That sadly only has the most recent version).

Is there even a reason why the server should be running on an outdated version anyways? Any feedback will help.

I'd recommend using Minecraft Forge. As you know we're on 6.2.3 and that version requires an older version of forge in order to work. Personally, I'm running Forge 14.23.3.2655. If you run a more recent version of forge it crashes.

I think you've done this, but it doesn't hurt to mention - make sure you've dedicated additional ram.

As a long time player of Pixelmon, I have to say that this server is one of the best crafted seeing as the spawn is interesting, the spawn rates make for an enjoyable experience and riding enabled means easier travel. The only complaint I really have is the fact that no keep inventory along with clearlag means that freak elytra or riding pokemon accidents can and might happen. Overall, 9/10.

I've never played pixelmon before but the staff were very helpful with getting me started and even helped me set up the mod so I could join! It is a really great server with a TON of things to do! You'll never be bored. also, the server is really friendly everyone helps each other out. The server is amazing and I can not wait to see where it leads from here.
