One day, a snowman was strolling along happily just outside of Santa's Workshop. He was smelling the cold, crisp winter air, watching the huge snowflakes fall, and listening to an elf choir practicing Christmas carols... when suddenly, the sound of "Jingle Bells" was interrupted by a big BOOM, and a trio of creepers scurried away!

The surprised snowman turned around to see elves running left and right, and toys flying through the air. Unfortunately, the snowman wasn't paying attention to what was going on near him, because at that moment, a flying snow globe knocked off his head and landed where it had been sitting!

The snowman, who somehow found his way to the elves' workshop despite lacking eyes or a brain, shouted "Help! My head is missing! Can you help me find it?" The elves took a break from assembling toys to assemble a large search party, looking all over the North Pole to find the head, but their efforts were in vain, because it was nowhere to be found. "We're so sorry," said the elves. "Maybe you should ask the reindeer for help, since they can fly."

So the snowman rushed to the stable, and shouted, "Help! My head is missing, and the elves can't find it!" Donner, the leader of the reindeer, looked down at the snowman and laughed heartily. "Did those silly elves only look on the ground? Surely, we will be able to give you more help. Maybe the force of the explosion blew your head all the way across the ocean!" The snowman, thanking the reindeer, got onto a sleigh and let the reindeer lead him all over the world, with Rudolph's glowing red nose guiding them. But still, even after going on a great flight across the world, the head was still missing. "We are all so, so sorry," said Donner. Vixen piped up, "There's really only one thing you can do now - talk to Santa and Mrs. Claus."

After arriving at Santa and Mrs. Claus' cabin atop a snowy mountain, the snowman, with the little energy he had left, said, "Help! My head is missing, and neither the elves nor the reindeer have been able to find it. Is there anything you can do?" Santa sighed. "I suppose it won't be possible to find your head." The snowman slouched. "But," Santa said, "there is still a temporary solution, until the elves have the time to build you a new head." The snowman, relieved, asked, "What is it?" Mrs. Claus said, "Well, how do you think Santa made all the reindeer able to fly? I'm sure he can work some magic, so that snow globe can work like your head would."

"Yes! I'd like that." The snowman was so happy that there was a way to solve his problem, even if only for a couple of weeks. "Very well, then," said Santa, and suddenly, the snowman could see again, and could turn his "head" around. "While I was at it, I made your body heat-proof, so you won't have to worry about melting if, say, you put on some clothing." The snowman rejoiced, jumping about. "Thank you so very much! I'll put on my favorite sweater and show everybody how good I look".

Once again, the snowman strolled along happily, and showed everybody his new head and sweater. He even showed the police, who were busy leading the creepers away in handcuffs. And the snowman was happy.

Once again, I decided to use the hat layer to change the shape of the head and add "moving" details (snowflakes). Also, I experimented with smoother shading, which was incredibly fun to use, and might be used in more skins I make.
