Into The History

There are many different speculations on what humanity in 2121 would be like. In fact just the term 'humanity' could be a reach of what to expect. So the question is...what life would be like 100+ years from now. Well to start we could inspect what life was like 100 years ago, and apply that to what we are currently going through today. This is based on my personal opinions and ordeals based on where I live, which is in the United States. Don't judge me on my historical facts bc history was not my strong suite.

So, 100 years ago, 1920-1921.This was not 'The Great Depression', but still a very depressing time in the U.S. as many had to adjust from the very first World War I. The economy was in shambles, factories forced to focus on wartime production, meaning a more high demand in jobs, leaving many of all ages working for exponential hours a week. Thus turning into child labor. Adding on to this, the Spanish Flu makes its arrival and kills approx. 50,000+ Americans varying in age. Just 100 years later and we got a resembling sickness except this one is worldwide.

Coincidence? Maybe.
Hotel? Trivago.

My Skin

You could say that 2021 is a transformed version of 1921. So, lets apply this to 2121 why don't we?
My skin is what I assume will be a step into the century from now. A human in a hoodie, wearing khaki jeans, with a transformers-like helmet on. The headgear serves as a multi-purpose piece of equipment. It pumps infinite amounts of O2 which circulates indefinitely. It comes with a heating/cooling system. Allows the user to go as high as the Exosphere without any inflictions. Also allows user to go 11,000m below sea level. Fully equipped with controlled audio, flash lights, & adjustments for your smelling desires.

Now lets get into the heart of the skin. And no, attached to its chest is not an Iron Man chest plate replica. Instead think of it as an extra life, or a second chance. It is a protective layer that covers a quarter of the torso region (including the heart) which breaks when it notices the life of the user has been taken. You could also call it a backup to if something fatal were to happen. I call it the 'Second Heart'.

That chest piece would act as a counter to whatever terrible accident WOULD have killed the human. In order to activate the 'Second Heart' one must first put on the helmet. The helmet, when worn, interacts with the humans soul/body/lifeforce and thus the heart is on. The 'Second Heart' stores an exact replica of the humans soul, meaning all of the functions making somebody who they are. Now when the Second Heart is shattered due to excessive trauma it is forever lost. Which correlates to if you weren't wearing any protective armor at all. You become what we are today. No modifications can be made to the 'Second Heart' at this time. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
