"Head up solider" Steve bellowed sternly,
"Yes, Sir!" I replied
"Yes, Sir!" I replied
"Any wounds?" He asked
"No sir" I wimpered
"Then back on the feild, we are fourteen soliders down! GO, GO GO!" Steve screamed as he pointed out the entry of the medical tent.
I scrabbled to my feet and stocked up my arrows. I took a deep breath and threw my tattered orange hair over my shoulder.
"FOR THE VILLAGE" I yelled as I ran out the tent entry.
As I ran for the nearest cover I could see balls of fire being hurled towards my fellow soliders. I ducked for cover behind a stack of cobblestone and with shaking hands I placed an arrow in my bow, without futher adue I turned, aimed and fired into the red nether sky..
After repeating this motion I heard a huge squeal that made me grasp at my ears and clench my teeth. It rung through me like I was a bell.
Followed by the horrible sound I heard something that brought my hopes up, the chimes of XP.
I took a deep breath and bolted for the falling XP, but there was something falling with it..
I jumped and caught the mysterious falling object, letting the XP fall then be claimed by a wounded soilder.
What was this strange egg shaped ball?
Why was it dropped?
Before I could wipe the dust from the object Steve took it from my hands and dragged me behind a stack of netherrack, sheltering us from the battleground.
"Alex, do you know what you've got here?" He said, never taking his eyes off the object.
"I have no clue, sir." I nervously replied
"T-this, this is a ghast tear Alex. The key to stop the nether war."
Just as the words left his lips a fireball hit the netherrack causing it to shatter and reveal a gaping hole above a pit of lava.
Steve overbalanced and fell, but I grasped his forearm just in time.
The ghast tear dangled on the borderline of the holes edge, almost tipping, almost falling into the lava.
"GET THE TEAR" Steve yelled
"I can't reach" I said trying to lean and grab it
"Drop me." Steve wimpered
"No, sir! I can reach just hold on"
"Behind you Alex! A wither!"
I turned slightly to see a large black wither skeleton heading towards me with anger and pain in his hollow expression,
"Don't let him get the tear Alex!" steve commanded as he let go of my grip.
