Ali Jaraah is a quick-witted, artful and notorious rug merchant, living and working in a very small nomad camp, located in the southernmost reaches of the desert.

There is no second of the day where he isn't either on the lookout for any new business opportunities, this includes devising large plans and scams that will only make him wealthier, or escaping those that he ows money to.

His business, which he treasures dearly, is what can allow him to survive, thrive and reign in the harsh desert environment.

Although he has just one humble stall and and a single set of hand-me-downs, he seems to be fairly prosperous and has many people working for him.

Quite simply, he is man who deals in rugs. No pun intended.
