The Azure Mech was created using the latest technology involving a special substance called "Auramite." Auramite is similar to redstone, but works on a very different Wavelength than redstone. It's also much more powerful and efficient. Redstone would never be able to create a mech such as this; that's a limit only Auramite was able to break. The Azure Mech was created as a weapon. It has laser cannons built into its hands and has a body made of an alloy of Lapis Lazuli and Diamond. It is nearly indestructible, and has a very intelligent AI. Imagine all the minecraft mob AIs combined into one (At least, those applicable) and put as the AI of a very powerful mech.

Player Lasercraft32 created the mech to assist him in defeating his most powerful enemies. The Mech, designed to think for itself, developed a bug that made its emotions very unstable. When angry, it entered a destructive rage. When Sad, it slowed down; sometimes to the point of temporary deactivation. It is capable of ignoring and deactivating its emotions, however it has a permanent, negative effect on it psyche. Lasercraft didn't realize it had a psyche, assuming it only emulated the emotions it felt. He required it to deactivate these emotions on many occasions, and it has not been healthy for the Mech.

I'm just going to ask this here: How did I not get in the top 50 in the contest? This was more original by FAR than the last 20 or so (I mean, most of those were generic boys or girls!) and I was confident I would at least place in the top 40ish. True, it doesn't make use of the colors in a way that looks like shading, but I spent hours to make sure there was no one area with too much of the same shade.

Do I need to have accurate shading to actually get a decent score on these things?
